Larsen’s Pool & Spa was founded 18 years ago to solve a common problem in pool construction: projects that lose direction, run over budget, or fall short of expectations. From the beginning, the company has operated by a simple principle often referred to as the Golden Ruletreat clients the way you would want to be treated yourself.

That principle continues to guide how every project is planned and executed across the Greater Tampa Bay Area, whether building a new shotcrete pool or renovating an existing one.

Our History

The foundation of Larsen’s Pool & Spa was shaped long before the company officially opened its doors. Owner Eric Larsen entered the swimming pool industry at a young age, working in operational roles focused on purchasing, materials, and logistics. That early experience provided a clear understanding of how pool companies function behind the scenes and how poor planning or loose controls can derail a project.

Over time, Eric gained hands-on experience across pool service, repairs, remodeling, design, and construction. Maintaining and repairing existing pools revealed what holds up over time and what does not. Those lessons became part of how Larsen’s Pool & Spa approaches both new construction and renovation work today.

The company grew steadily through market shifts and economic downturns, refining a process built around structure, communication, and accountability. That history shows up in how projects are organized, how expectations are set, and how the company stays involved from the first conversation through completion and beyond.
